The amount of spas that are opening up just for women is on the decrease because men need the exact same kind of treatments too. Of course it is not just the women that work really hard and men need some time out at a nice spa too?
The only reason that a spa is seen as a womans place is because of the history. Many of the spas for women do actually have a couple of places installed for the men to relax in. There is nothing wrong at all with a man wanting some time in a spa as a nice massage or some time in the sauna or even listening to a bit of music can really help with the levels of stress.
A health spa is more than just a simple sit down to have a massage. it does not have to be done alone, ask a couple of friends if they want to go with you. It is certainly not a social gathering place so do not treat it like one if you do end up going with a couple of your friends, respect the others that are there.
Whatever you do, do not go and purchase the first thing you see, look around for the best spa day for your man. He will not want to be waiting outside for a pedicure with all women around him as this can be highly embarrassing. The best thing to do is to look for a treatmen available for men but also something that isnt rubbish and just a bit watered down from the woman’s version. The fact is that just over a third of all spa clients are men so the market certainly needs to take this onboard and realise it is not just the women who love a good pampering so all in all it is clear that men need good beauty gifts too!
